微软宣布重组Windows部门

 AMTeam.org消息： 3月23日，微软宣布重整旗下平台及服务事业部（Platforms & Services Division），并任命原本Office部门Information Worker（信息工作者）产品副总裁的Steve Sinofsky为Windows负责人，掌管Windows OS及Windows Live服务的开发。

微软平台及服务部门共同总裁Kevin Johnson周四在一封发给该部门员工的电子邮件中宣布了这项人事及架构重组。他说，平台及服务事业部将分成八大部门：除Windows及Windows Live之外，由副总裁Blake Irving负责的Windows Live Platform。另外网络事业群（Online Business Group）由资深副总裁David Cole负责；市场拓展事业群（Market Expansion Group）由资深副总裁Will Poole负责；核心操作系统（Core Operating System）由资深副总裁Brian Valentine负责；Windows客户销售部门（Windows Client Marketing）由副总裁Mike Sievert负责；开发者及平台推广部门（Developer and Platform Evangelism）由副总裁Sanjay Parthasarathy负责；服务器及工具业务部门─由资深副总裁Bob Muglia负责。

这其中有三个新设部门，分别是Windows及Windows Live、Windows Live Platform与Market Expansion。而MSN则更名为网络事业群，其业务范围包括广告销售，以及微软各个Live平台的业务开发与营销。
