SAP兼并零售软件开发商

AMTeam.org消息：SAP周一宣布同意收购坐落于多伦多的POS零售软件开发商Triverstity公司，有关财务细节并没有透露。

SAP公司表示，预计Triversity的技术可以为SAP提供包括零售端销售软件、零售供应链和后台协作功能在内的产品。

SAP美国公司的总裁和首席执政官比尔·麦德莫特在发言中表示，对于Triversity的收购完全符合公司通过购并来扩展产品功能、扩大与主要竞争对手领先优势的战略。

SAP还表示两家公司原来就有很多共同的关键客户，包括Body Shop、 Casa Ley、Indigo Books、Wawa and Trader Joe's等零售商；SAP在世界范围内拥有2700家零售行业的客户，而Triversity在北美拥有250家客户。

此次购并预计将会在10月份完成。

SAP To Acquire Retail Software Maker

SAP AG on Monday said it has agreed to acquire privately held Triversity, a Toronto-based maker of point-of-sale retail software. Financial details were not disclosed.

Triversity's technology is expected to provide SAP with products that cover point of sale, through the retail supply chain and to the corporate back office, the German software maker said.

“The acquisition of Triversity falls right in line with our strategy of acquiring companies to enhance product functionality and extend our leading position within key industry verticals,” said Bill McDermott, president and chief executive of SAP America Inc., said in a statement.

SAP said the two companies have a "strong list" of joint customers, including The Body Shop, Casa Ley, Indigo Books, Wawa and Trader Joe's. SAP has 2,700 customers in the retail industry worldwide, while Triversity has 250 in North America.

The acquisition is expected to be completed in October.
