Salesforce.com是创建于1999年3月的一家客户关系管理( CRM )软件服务提供商,宣称可提供随需应用的客户关系管理(On-demandCRM), 其产品家族(包括 Salesforce .com和 Supportforce.com)基于 sforce 客户 / 服务整合平台,允许客户与独立软件供应商定制并整合其产品,同时建立他们各自所需的应用软件。对于用户而言,则可以避免购买硬件、开发软件等前期投资以及复杂的后台管理问题。因其口号“软件的终结”,故在业内常被称作“软件终结者”。现任董事会主席兼CEO MarcBenioff。2004年6月,该公司在纽约证券交易所成功上市,2004年的收入达到1.75亿美元。公司现有13900家企业客户,注册用户达到227000名。据悉,今年6月该公司将开始为用户提供管理软件服务。
