SanDisk interoperates with its customers to deliver increased value in the
marketplace. SanDisk is making full use of QAD EDI ECommerce and QXtend to
integrate its systems and processes required to support their aggressive growth
strategy.
SanDisk, the world's leading supplier of
flash memory data storage card products, has experienced phenomenal growth in
recent years seeing revenue top $1 billion in 2003 and $1.7 billion in 2004.
They design, develop, manufacture and market their products, which are sold
through more than 93,000 retail storefronts worldwide. SanDisk is making full
use of QAD's interoperability solutions including EDI ECommerce and QXtend (both
inbound and outbound). Both products have allowed SanDisk to replace in-house
developed software with standard, off-the-shelf solutions, backed by QAD's
support, documentation and services. By adopting a standardized Enterprise
Application Integration (EAI) architecture, SanDisk IT is able to quickly adapt
its integration processes as SanDisk's business model continues to rapidly
evolve. This architecture integrates not only internal SanDisk systems but also
SanDisk's systems with those of its customers, sub-contract manufacturers and
logistics partners. It also pushes integration fault-resolution to the correct
section of the enterprise. This presentation will show SanDisk's EAI
architecture and highlight the importance of EDI ECommerce and QXtend within
it.
