Enodis Corporation is engaged in the manufacture and distribution of
commercial foodservice equipment, including both warm and cold side products,
for the Food Service Equipment and Food Retail Equipment markets. Having
selected QAD as their ERP application partner, Enodis began an MFG/PRO
implementation across five widely different locations in Canada, the UK and the
United States in the fall of 2003. This implementation included MFG/PRO, Trade
Management and Cameleon Configurator along with a wide range of other
applications.
Implementation began in what was expected to be the
company's off season. Instead, sales were 10 to 18 percent higher than
anticipated, a major recall was conducted and resources were severely stretched.
Despite this "perfect storm," Enodis successfully implemented MFG/PRO,
configuration and trade management within one year! So how did they do
it?
This session will focus on the following:
Developing common
standards across disparate business organizations
Effective project
management for multi-company, multi-currency, and multi-application
implementations
Introducing cultural change
