The Internet offers great opportunities to improve the way you run your business. HR Managers can now leverage this new technology to improve human resource management and work more effectively. PowerESS is a unique eBusiness solution applicable to human resources management and employee self-services developed by Platinum China based on multiple work flows proposed by Workflow Management Coalition (WFMC), Multi-level Security, Multi-level Forms and self-defined Fields, and Multi-level Approval Flows. PowerESS is a web-based extension to Platinum China's PowerHRP, China's leading Human Resources & Payroll Management software application. 利用PowerESSInternet浏览器,如Microsoft Internet Explorer,员工和管理人员可以方便地获得个人及下属的信息。PowerESS由两个主要模块组成:

管理员模块

该模块只允许具有管理员权限的用户访问,主要负责整个系统的设置,包括“系统设定”、“用户组维护”、“用户维护”、“表单维护”、“审批流维护”、“工作流维护”、“报告维护”,并可进行如下操作:

l          定义个人查询时个人信息的查询范围

l          定义领导查询时下属人事信息的查询范围

l          定义用户对表单的访问权限

l          定义多重审批级别

l          定义报告的格式及参数

最终用户模块:

该模块允许最终用户访问。

 

用户可通过“员工当日提醒”查看:

l          各类个人信息的到期或变更提醒

l          个人培训安排

l          个人绩效评估安排

l          表单的状态及审批请求

l          下属的休假培训信息

用户可通过“个人信息页面” 查看:

l          个人人事信息

l          下属人事信息

l

用户通过“信息中心”阅读或发布消息或上传文件,如:

l          浏览公司公告栏

l          上传或下载文档资料

通过“使用工作流”提交工作流表单完成各种申请,系统还可以通过email或短信方式通知相关审批人员,包括:

l          更改个人人事信息

l          了解培训课程并申请参加培训

l          申请使用公司资产

l          提交差旅交际费用预支单,各类费用报销单

l          申请休假

l          申请加班

 

通过“报告管理”查看或打印相关信息,包括:

l          薪资历史信息

l          加班历史信息

l          休假历史信息

 

Core Functions

By using PowerESS and an Internet Browser, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, your employees and managers can now gain secure access to all their own as well as their subordinates' human resources information. PowerESS consists the following two main modules:

Administrator Module:

The module could be accessed by system administrator only, including the functions of  "System setting", "User Group Maintenance", "User Maintenance", "Form Maintenance", "Approval Flow Maintenance", "Work Flow Maintenance", "Report Maintenance", to perform the following operations:

l          Define personal page search options for self query

l          Set up search options for subordinate's personal information query

l          Configure the security to access available forms

l          Set up multi-level approvals

l          Define the format and parameter of reports

 

End User Module:

The module could be accessed by end user.

End user can view the following personal information by using of "Employee Today"

l          Reminder of various personal information status

l          Schedule of personal training courses

l          Schedule of personal performance review

l          Form status and request of approval

l          Leave and training information of subordinate

l

By using of "Personal Page", end user could obtain the following information

l          Personal information

l          Subordinates' information

 

End user could read and publish information or upload files by "information center"

l          View the company bulletin board

l          Upload or download files

 

Complete application and approval procedure by using of "work flow", while informing relevant persons via email or short message service (SMS):

l          Make changes to personal data

l          View what Training Courses are available and apply for a training course

l          Application to use company assets

l          Submission of Travel, Entertainment and other Expense Claims

l          Apply for leave

l          Apply to work overtime

 

View or print information by using of  "report management", including:

l          Payroll history

l          Overtime history

l          Leave history
