Position Title: Applications Consultant |
|
Purpose of
Job/Role
|
To provide application and business procedure expertise which
supports the implementation of supply chain business solution project(s),
to ensure the highest level of customer
satisfaction. |
|
Key
Responsibilities/Activities
|
Work with the customer to define the User Requirements,
functional specifications and scope of work.
Understand the business applications of Infrontier suite of
solutions.
Document software change
requirements.
Document operational processes and procedures.
Comply with company standards and methodology. including the
company QA. |
|
Key competencies/capabilities
required
|
Demonstrable knowledge of key business processes in the Supply
Chain and the related financial areas.
Demonstrable understanding of business concerns and issues, and the improvement and
optimisation benefits that come from implementing
technology.
Demonstrable understanding of the operations of one or more of
the following. industries:
Pharmaceutical, Food, Logistics, FMCG.
Staff supervision for project
deliverables.
Negotiating and influencing
skills.
Communication skills, both written and
verbal.
Customer Management skills.
Presentation and facilitation
skills.
Analytic ability.
Use of computer tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Lotus Notes,
Visio). |

Qualifications/Work Experience / Specialist
Training Required
|
Must have 5 years business experience working with
IT.
Must
have 3 years experience in implementing applications for logistics,
warehousing
(WMS)
or ERP solutions using packaged software.
Must have experience in business process design, preferably in
Supply Chain processes.
Must have staff supervision
experience.
Must have a degree in either business or
technology. |

Unique Requirements of
Job
|
Ability to communicate fluently in both English and an Asian
language, both spoken and written.
Experience
in Asia with
ideally 5 years project experience in the country of
application.
Projects may require travel across the
region. |
Reporting
Relationships
|
Reports to:
Country Manager and Project
Manager.
Professional direction from Professional Services.
Liaison with Product Manager.
Supervises:
Work of third party
suppliers. |

Measures
|
Delivery of assigned technical areas of project responsibility
to time and budget.
Quality of documents produced.
Degree of compatibility between solution and customer
requirements.
Customer satisfaction.
